A handwritten "To Do" list by John Lennon in black ink on 8.5 x 11.25 yellow lined paper is now for sale on an internet auction site (HERE)
The list of rather everyday chores includes books that Lennon wanted returned to him as well as books he wanted. Fixing the hook on the bathroom door, moving Sean Lennon's large mattress and waiting for the cable guy to show up. The fourth item Marmalade, shows that Lennon was a typical Englishman in New York.
It appears that no matter how sophisticated and famous people are, their lives are composed of numerous everyday and prosaic actions.
