The surface of the Moon as you have never seen it before.

HERE is a set of beautiful topographic images of the surface of the moon. They are of unprecedented height resolution and lovely to look at.

The mapping is colour coded to reveal the surface shape of the Moon. The different colours are used to represent the elevations of the craters, mountains and ridges of the moons surface (White highest, down red, orange, green, blue and violet lowest). Each pixel is about 100 metres across.
