The Central Paradox of Data states:
It is impossible to assess whether a given piece of data is any good or not, simply by inspection of the data alone.
In fact Data only has value when at least the following are true
–It comes from a trusted source
–You know how and why it was
generated
–It has not been corrupted
–It is relevant to you
–You are legally entitled to use
it
If
these are true then Data can become Information.
